Green Energy Prices

Many suppliers have recently either placed a hiatus on green prices or have withdrawn them altogether, due to the Government’s announcements regarding the renewable market in the last budget, which resulted in great uncertainty in this sector. Examples of this include terminating the funding for the Green Deal scheme, and the vast reductions in Feed-In Tariffs for hydro / wind power.

The result of this is that there are currently very few suppliers around who actually offer any truly Green prices any-more.

We can request Green Prices from those suppliers who still offer such rates, and promote as an alternative those suppliers who either use a high percentage of renewable energy in their supply, or those who use more environmentally-friendly methods of generation - such as burning Bio-mass instead of coal - and suppliers such as Opus and Haven are great examples of this.
